Welcome
Thank you for purchasing a Rinnai Tankless
Water Heater. Before installing and operating this
water heater, be sure to read these instructions
completely and carefully to familiarize yourself with
the water heater's features and functionality.
To The Installer
• It is recommended that a licensed profes-
sional install the appliance, inspect it, and
leak test it before use. The warranty may
be voided due to any improper installation.
• The trained and qualified professional
should have skills such as:
– Gas sizing
– Connecting gas lines, water lines,
valves, and electricity
– Knowledge of applicable national, state,
and local codes
– Installing venting through a wall or roof
– Training in installation of tankless water

• Read all instructions in this manual before
installing the water heater. The water heat-
er must be installed according to the exact
instructions in this manual.
• Proper installation is the responsibility of
the installer.
• When installation is complete, leave this
manual with the water heater (for internal/
indoor units) or give the manual directly to
the consumer.
