If a fault occurs, an Error Message will flash on the Digital Dispaly of the Remote Controller. The water heater should be cleaned annually. Keep the water heater clear of dust and debris especially in and around burner. Cleaning procedures for the Rinnai are as follows: 1) Turn off and disconnect electrical power. Before installing the remote controllers, determine the most convenient location(s).
