Why Use Wi-Fi During Setup
As you go through the first-time setup of your Note 4, you may choose to restore a backup of a
previous device to your Note 4, and at the end of the device setup, a number of apps may need to
be updated. Both of these activities can use a lot of data. Using Wi-Fi speeds up these activities
as well as saves you the cost of the cellular data charges. Therefore, although you do not have to
connect to a Wi-Fi network for device setup, it is advisable.
5. Enter the password for the Wi-Fi network using the onscreen keyboard.
6. Tap Connect. Your Galaxy Note 4 connects to the Wi-Fi network.
7. Tap Next.
