3. Medium frequency chip U5 TDA9885/TDA9886
TDA9885 and TDA9886 are PHILIPS' medium frequency processing ICs, both of which support
PAL and NTSC, and TDA9886 is added with the function of supporting SECAM. See details as
follows:
1) Optional video medium frequency of bus control (33.4M, 33.9M, 38M, 38.9M, 45.75M,
58.75M);
2) Read out 4 BIT AFC data through the bus and realize an accurate AFC control;
3) The TOP point in AGC is carried out by the bus;
4) Four optional addresses
5) PLL medium frequency modulator (with external 4M crystal)
