OPERATIONAL NOTES

SWITCHING ON
With monoblocks we suggest that you turn on one amplifier first allowing about thirty seconds
to pass before powering the other. Also, ALWAYS turn ON your preamplifier or console
FIRST and let this settle before turning on the amplifiers.
RUNNING
It is not recommended that you leave your amplifier permanently switched on. This only
wastes electricity. Your amplifier uses all solid state components and reaches peak operating
condition in approximately 30 minutes.
PROTECTION CIRCUITRY
As with all solid state amplifiers it is very important to NEVER short the output terminals of the
amplifier or to drive the amplifier with a very low load. Never drive the amplifier into less
than a 2 Ohm load. Each channel is equipped with rail fuses which should blow open in the
case of a short circuit. The amplifier is also equipped with voltage-current limiting protection
circuitry to prevent damaging the amplifier or speakers.
