Troubleshooting

Issue
No power / no lights
Power ON but scooter doesn't
run
Charger not working
Battery not charging
Reduced running distance
Scooter doesn't stop when
applying brakes
In the event that you are having difficulty with your scooter outside of these issues or
these solutions are not correcting your issue please contact a technician at GIO
customer service.
Possible Cause
Ignition Key "OFF"
On/Off Switch "OFF"
Fuse
Battery not connected
Battery needs charging
Loose or damaged wiring
Brakes safety switch is engaged
Throttle connection
Battery not connected properly
Battery low
Wires to controller loose
Wires to motor loose
Defective controller
Defective motor
No voltage in power outlet
Charger damaged/defective
Charger damaged/defective
Battery not connected properly
Battery not fully charged
Brakes making contact when not
applied
Tire pressure low

Solution
Turn to "ON"

packs, fuse, etc.

Check and reconnect wires

Check wall outlet, use an
alternate outlet
Replace charger

Check and connect both battery
packs, fuse, etc.

Adjust brakes
Inflate to correct pressure
