    Your Titan arrives 98% assembled and is ready in 5 simple steps. Step 1 Unpack your Titan - Untie or snip the wires holding your Titan in its protective frame and remove it from its packaging. Double check that your Titan includes the following components:...
  • Page 5 Basket Hardware Storage Tray Hardware Poncho Security Lock Step 2 Attach the basket - First attach the top to the rest of the basket with the provided small nuts & bolts x2 and then attach the entire basket to the rear of the seat with the included long bolts x4.
  • Page 6 Step 3 Attach the mirrors - Safely stored for shipping, twist in the mirrors into place and tighten with a wrench. Step 4 Reconnect the battery - Your battery ships with the battery disconnected. Open the underseat compartment then lift and remove the gray plastic under-seat tray.
  • Page 7 Locate the disconnected wire near the breaker switch, plug it back into the slot on the side of the breaker and tighten the screw above it to secure it into place. You can now flip the breaker to the on position (your alarm should chirp), replace the under seat tray and secure the tray into place with the medium bolts (x4).

    (keys or fob) it can ONLY be turned off with the same method. Driving your Scooter The Titan features a variable twist throttle on the right handlebar. (See steering controls diagram) Gently twist the throttle grip inwards to slowly accelerate to the desired speed.
  • Page 11 Your scooter features control switches next to the throttle grip that adjust driving features. The upper switch labeled 1-3 sets the current speed setting of the scooter. (Setting approximate speed: 1 -5mph(9km/h), 2 - 10mph(15km/h) 3 - 20mph(32km/hr)) The lower green switch drives the scooter in reverse at 3mph(5km/h).
  • Page 12 Remote fob and alarm system The GIO Titan features an alarm system that is controlled with the included fob. This fob can also be used to turn the scooter on and off remotely.
  • Page 13 Adjusting your scooters seat The seat on the Titan has several adjustments. The position of the seat can be shifted forward or backward by engaging the lower adjustment handle, on the right hand side below the armrest, and moving the seat's position.

    To ensure the safety and reliability of your scooter, do not modify your scooter, and always use parts, i.e. charger, specifically designed for the GIO Titan. Alway make sure your scooter is turned off before performing any maintenance! Inspection List...
  • Page 15 Battery ⚠ Always charge your battery with the included charger, do not substitute with a different charger. For best performance, charge after use and avoid completely draining the battery by recharging it before the meter reaches zero. The battery in your scooter requires regular charging, even when not in use, to maintain its life.
  • Page 16 Tires The Titan is equipped with tubeless tires, these require less maintenance, and are less prone to flats compared to traditional tube tires. However, damage and flats are still possible. The condition of your tires not only directly affects the ability to drive your scooter but also its general performance.

    There are no warranties that extend beyond the description in this limited warranty. GIO Electric guarantees this product, including charger, motor, controller, to be free of manufacturing defects for a period of 12 months. All warranty periods commence from the date of shipment.
