    1. Introduction 1.1 Safety When incorrectly used, this equipment is a potentially DANGEROUS machine. Cleaning, maintenance and any other service on the machine must be made by properly trained personnel, and the machine must be always disconnected from the electric network. To avoid accidents, injure or damages to the equipment, respect the following instructions: 1.1.1 Read this instructions.

Before plugging the equipment on the power grid, make sure the network voltage is the same as indicated on the cord label.     3. Operation 3.1 Starting To switch on the equipment follow the instructions below: - Turn the equipment to the power grid. 1 - Check if the Lid N° 01 (Pic.: 01) is properly situaded in its place. 2 - Press the ON Switch (N° 06 Pic. 01) to the “I” position to turn on the equipment. 3.2 Operation Procedure - Put the product to be peeled inside the equipment.

    3.4 Cleaning and Sanitizing IMPORTANT Always unplug the machine before cleaning process. The equipment must be completely clean and sanitized: - Before being used for the first time; - After the everyday operation; - When it hasn´t been used for a long time; - Before using it after some time of inactivity.

    3.5 Cautions with Stainless Steels The Stainless Steel may present rust signs, which ARE ALWAYS CAUSED BY EXTERNAL AGENTS, especially when the cleaning or sanitization is not constant and appropriate. The Stainless Steel resistance towards corrosion is mainly due to the presence of chrome, which in contact with oxygen allows the formation of a very thin protective coat.

    4. Safety Notions The following safety instructions are addressed to both the operator of the machine as well as the person in charge of maintenance. The machine has to be delivered only in perfect conditions of use by the Distributor to the user.

    4.1.3 Advices In case of power shortage, immediately switch the machine off. - Avoid mechanical shocks, once they may cause damages or bad functioning. - Avoid water, dirt or dust contact to the mechanical and electrical components of the machine. - DO NOT change the original characteristics of the machine.

    4.2.3 Precautions The electric cable has to be compatible with the power required by the machine. Cables touching the floor or close to the machine need to be protected against short circuits. The oil reservoirs have to be filled until the indicated level.     Any maintenance with the machine in working situation is dangerous. SWITCH OFF THE APPLIANCE BY PULLING THE PLUG OFF THE SOCKET DURING MAINTENANCE. IMPORTANT Always disconect the plug from the outlet in case of emergency. 4.7 Warning Electrical or mechanical maintenance has to be undertaken by qualified personnel. The person in charge of maintenance has to be sure that the machine is under TOTAL SAFETY conditions when working.

    1. Al recibirlo, verifique el voltaje registrado en la etiqueta existente en el cable eléctrico. El cable de alimentación posee un enchufe con trés clavillos (el central es el clavilla de aterramiento), es obligatorio que los tres estén debidamente conectados antes de usar el equipo.

    Para poner en marcha el equipo, siga las siguientes instrucciones: - Conecte el equipo a la red de energía eléctrica. 1 - Verifique que la Tapa de Protección (N° 01 Fig. 01) está ubicada en su debido lugar. 2 - Presione el Interruptor Encendido (N° 06 Fig. 01) para la posición “I” a fin de encender el equipo.

    3.3 Limpieza e higienización IMPORTANTE Retire el enchufe del tomacorriente antes de iniciar la limpieza. El aparato debe limpiarse e higienizarse totalmente: - Antes de usarlo por primera vez; - Después de cada jornada de operación; - Siempre que no se utilice por un período prolongado; - Antes de colocarlo en operación, después de un tiempo de inactividad prolongado.

    3.4 Cuidados con los aceros inoxidables Los aceros inoxidables pueden presentar puntos de “corrosión”, que SIEMPRE SON PROVOCADOS POR AGENTES EXTERNOS, principalmente cuando el cuidado con la limpieza o higienización no sea constante y adecuado. La resistencia a la corrosión del acero inoxidable se debe principalmente a la presencia del cromo que, en contacto con el oxígeno, permite la formación de una finísima camada protectora.

    4. Nociones de Seguridad Las nociones de seguridad se elaboraron para orientar e instruir adecuadamente a los usuarios de los aparatos y a las personas que serán responsables por su manutención. El equipo sólo debe entregarse al usuario en buenas condiciones, y éste, por su parte, debe ser orientado por el revendedor en relación al uso y a la seguridad del mismo.

    Lea atentamente las INSTRUCCIONES contenidas en este manual antes de encender el equipo. Verifique que todas las informaciones sean entendidas. Si hay dudas, consulte el Servicio de Atendimiento al Consumidor (SAC) Skymsen. 4.2.1 Perigo El cable eléctrico cuya aislación esté dañada, puede producir escape de corriente eléctrica y provocar descargas.

    4.2.3 Cuidados El cable de energía eléctrica, responsable por la alimentación de la máquina, debe tener una sección suficiente que soporte la potencia eléctrica consumida. 4.3 Inspecciones de Rutina 4.3.1 Aviso Al verificar la tensión de las correas, NO coloque los dedos entre ellas. 4.3.2 Cuidados Verifique el motor y las partes deslizantes y giratorias del equipo cuando haya ruidos anormales.

    4.6 Manutención 4.6.1 Peligros En este equipo, cualquier operación de manutención es peligrosa. DESCONECTE EL EQUIPO DE LA RED ELÉCTRICA DURANTE TODA LA OPERACIÓN DE MANUTENCIÓN. IMPORTANTE En caso de emergencia, siempre retire el enchufe del tomacorriente. 4.7 Avisos La manutención eléctrica e/o mecánica debe ser realizada por personas calificadas para dicho trabajo.
