Macro Function 1; Setting Up Macros - Teac RC-L800 Owner's Manual

< This function enables you to set up to 60
sequential operations into a single key.
< An interval can be set from 1–10 seconds
between each operation.
< In the operation mode, you can view the macro-
assigned key by pressing and holding the
MACRO button. When you press and hold the
MACRO button only keys that have macros
assigned appear in the display.

Setting up Macros

1. Enter the setup mode.
2. Press 5 or b to select MACRO and press
ENTER.
3. Press 5 or b to select NEW and press
ENTER.

4. Once a device and page have been selected
by pressing device and page keys, select
and press the blank key you wish to set as a
Macro key. When you press it, three beeps
sound.
If the selected key had been a key code or
Macro, it is overwritten with the new Macro.
Start to define the Macro:
Example:
TV-Power on w TV-TV/Video w DVD-Power on
(5-second interval) w DVD-Play
Press the device button of TV.
Press the TV power button.
Press the TV TV/VIDEO key.
Press the DVD device button.
Press the DVD power button.
Press the button to select interval.
Press [5] for a 5-second interval.
Press the DVD play button.
