What you can do w ith the w ireless
activation function
T h e w i r e l e s s a c t i v a t i o n f u n c t i o n e n a b l e s c l e a n a n d c o m -
fortable operation. By connecting a supported vacuum
cleaner to the tool, you can run the vacuum cleaner
automatically along with the switch operation of the tool.

Installing the w ireless unit
Optional accessory
CAUTION:
Place the tool on a flat and stable
surface w hen installing the w ireless unit.
NOTICE:
Clean the dust and dirt on the tool
before installing the w ireless unit. D u s t o r d i r t
may cause malfunction if it comes into the slot of the
w i r e l e s s u n i t .
NOTICE:
To prevent the malfunction caused by
static, touch a static discharging material, such
as a metal part of the tool, before picking up the
w ireless unit.
NOTICE:
When installing the w ireless unit,
al w ays be sure that the w ireless unit is inserted
in the correct direction and the lid is completely
closed.
1. Open the lid on the tool as shown in the figure.

When removing the wireless unit, open the lid slowly.
T h e h o o k s o n t h e b a c k o f t h e l i d w i l l l i f t t h e w i r e l e s s u n i t
as you pull up the lid.

If you wish to activate the vacuum cleaner along with
the switch operation of the tool, finish the tool registra-
t i o n b e f o r e h a n d .

NOTE: The wireless activation lamps finish blinking
i n g r e e n a f t e r 20 s e c o n d s e l a p s e d . P r e s s t h e w i r e l e s s
a c t i v a t i o n b u t t o n o n t h e t o o l w h i l e t h e w i r e l e s s a c t i -
v a t i o n l a m p o n t h e c l e a n e r i s b l i n k i n g . I f t h e w i r e l e s s
a c t i v a t i o n l a m p d o e s n o t b l i n k i n g r e e n , p u s h t h e w i r e -
less activation button briefly and hold it down again.
NOTE: W h e n p e r f o r m i n g t w o o r m o r e t o o l r e g i s t r a -
tions for one vacuum cleaner, finish the tool registra-
tion one by one.
