Advantages for the rider
The advantages of ABS Pro for
the rider are sensitive response
and high braking and riding sta-
bility with the best possible de-
celeration, even in curves.
NOTICE
ABS Pro is only available in the

Dynamic Damping
Control (DDC)

DDC

Using the leveling sensor, the
motions of the rear spring strut
are recorded. Depending on the
determined motion direction and
speed, as well as depending on
the riding mode selected, the
EDC (Electronic Damper Con-
trol) valve is opened or closed.
Damping on the front wheel de-
pends on the riding mode as
well, however the spring travel
is not measured.
The damping values for the front
wheel and for the rear wheel
can be adjusted in the
DDC-SYS
menu via seven
steps in the "softer" direction
and seven steps in the "harder"
direction. On the rear wheel,
compression stage and rebound
rid-
stage can be separately adjusted.
In order to separately adjust the
damping values on the front
wheel according to rebound and
compression stage, a spring
travel sensor (racing accessory)
must be installed on the front
forks. A plug connector for sen-
sor connection is already avail-
able on the motorcycle. It is lo-
cated behind the left side panel.
If an additional leveling sensor
is installed, an existing sensor
is replaced, or the running gear
height is changed, a calibration
must be performed. The
calibration is started in the

SETUP
Control (DTC)
How does Traction
Control function?
DTC takes the angle of inclina-
tion into account, conveniently
adjusts and is suitable for improv-
ing the lap times on the race-
track.
Traction Control compares the
wheel circumferential speeds of
the front and rear wheels. The
slip, and with it the stability re-
serves at the rear wheel, are de-
termined from the speed differ-
ence. The engine management
system adapts the engine torque
when the slip limit is exceeded.
