Using for the first time

Before operating the newly installed appliance for the first time, the following steps
should be taken:
▸ Remove packaging and transport materials as well as any protective film from out of
the cooking space.
▸ Clean the cooking space and the accessories.
▸ Long touch the display.
– The appliance starts.
– Various user settings necessary for operation appear in the display one after the
other.
▸ Make the settings and confirm.
▸ Remove all the accessories from out of the cooking space.
▸ Start the initial burn-in.
If the initial burn-in step is skipped, it must be carried out manually after completing the
initial set-up.
Procedure for model V4000
▸ Heat the empty cooking space to 200 °C for about 30 minutes using the
mode.
Procedure for model V2000
▸ Heat the empty cooking space to 200°C for about 30 minutes using the
mode and microwave at 200 W, having already placed a porcelain bowl with about 1
litre of water on the turntable.
Burning-in removes any oily residues in the cooking space. As there is likely to be
some smoke and odour given off, we recommend ventilating the room well during
this phase.
All temperatures in these operating instructions are given in degrees Celsius (°C).
