REA VERIFIER
The printer has its own power supply in the form of an internal battery. This must be fully charged
with the printer power unit supplied (see also the user manual for the mobile printer REA
TD-GPT-U).
A compact plug-in charger is supplied together with the printer, for charging the internal battery with
6 Volt output voltage. It is not possible to mistake this for the power supply unit of the REA
ScanCheck 3n. For all further operating information for the report printer, refer to the details in the
user manual for the REA TD-GPT-U.
Operation with other printers is not possible and not intended.

3.6 Operating the REA ScanCheck 3n with REA TransWin32

Please refer to the TransWin32 manual in this regard.

3.6.1 General information on the software installation

With the REA TransWin32 software, a standard PC that is not included in the scope of delivery can
be built out into an analysis centre for REA bar code verifiers.
The REA TransWin32 program serves for the transmission and further processing of measurement
results and the remote control on standard PCs of REA bar code verifiers of the following types:
REA PC-Scan LD 4, REA PC-Scan LD/3, REA ScanCheck 3, REA VeriCube and REA MLV-2D.
With this software program, measurement reports can be transferred from a REA bar code verifier
to a PC and analysed there. REA bar code verifiers are always addressed over a network. REA
TransWin32 is a 32-bit software application that was developed for the exclusive use on Microsoft
