【圧接】
1) ハンドルを握ってラチェットを解除し、ハンドルを開いてください。
2) ケーブルを整線した圧接ユニット❶をハンドツールの圧接ガイド❷上にセッ
トします。ケーブルの端末処理、整線方法はケーブルの種類によって異なり
ます。IX シリーズの各ケーブルごとの結線手順書を参照してください。
圧接ガイド❷に圧接ユニット❶をセットするときは、嵌合部のキー❸が上を
向くようにセットしてください。
3) ハンドルを握り、圧接を行います。
※ 工具には適正な加圧が行われるまでハンドルが開かない様にラチェット機構
が備わっています。ラチェットが解除されるまでハンドルを握ってください。
※ ラチェットが解除された後も、ハンドルに過度な荷重をかけ続けると工具の
破損などを引き起こす可能性がありますのでラチェット解除後は速やかにハ
ンドルを開いてください。
4) 圧接ユニット❶を圧接ガイド❷から取り出します。
取り出しの際、ガイド等に圧接ユニット❶を引掛けたりして傷などをつけな
いようご注意ください。
5) 圧接状態の確認を行います。
① 圧接ユニット❶にガイドパーツのロック❹がかかっていることを確認して
ください。
② ケーブル先端❺が圧接端子❻より奥まで挿入された状態で圧接されている
ことを確認してください。
【Crimping】
1) Holding the wheel, release the ratchet and open the handle.
2) Set the crimping unit ❶ arranged a cable on the crimping guide ❷ of a
hand tool. The termination processing and line-arrangement method of
cables differs depending on the types of cables.
Refer to a connection procedure manual for each cable of the IX series.
When attaching the crimping unit ❶ to the crimping guide ❷ , set it so that
the key ❸ of the joint may face to the top.
3) Hold thee handle and perform the crimping.
* A ratchet mechanism is equipped with the tool so that the handle may not
open until adequate pressure is applied on the tool. Hold the handle until
the ratchet is released.
* When an excessive load continues to be applied on the handle even
after the ratchet is released, there is a possibility of causing the tool to be
damaged and so on. So, open the handle immediately after the ratchet is
released.
4) Take the crimping unit ❶ out of the crimping guide ❷ .
When you take it out, be careful not to damage it by hooking the crimping
unit ❶ on the guide and the like.
5) Check the crimping state.
① Make sure that a lock ❹ of guide parts is put on the crimping unit ❶ .
② Make sure that the end of cables ❺ are being crimped in a state of be-
ing inserted more deeply than the crimping terminal ❻ .
