ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS / INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE:
Unpack the components carefully. Please check all parts have been removed from the packaging.
Before using first time
Remove the protective film from the solar panel. Allow lantern to charge for at least 8 hours in full sunlight
with the ON/OFF switch in the ON position. The ON/OFF switch is located under the solar panel. Once the
batteries are fully charged, set the ON/OFF switch to ON. If the lamp does not turn on after dark refer to
Maintenance section.
Find an ideal Place for the Solar Light.
1. Install the solar product in an area where it can get direct sunlight.
2. Leave the switch to "ON" position.
3. Select an outdoor location away from other light sources at night, such as street lights. It may cause
the product not to turn on automatically at night.
4. Duration of light depends on solar product's level of sunlight exposure, geographical locations,
weather conditions and the hours of daylight.
CHARGING AND OPERATION:
1. The solar panel is located under the glass ball. Set switch (at the bottom of the product) to "ON"
position. Press the ON/OFF button to "ON" position. Charge the solar product by placing it under
direct sunlight for at least 8 hours.
2. The light will work automatically. It will charge under direct sunlight during the daytime and
illuminate at night.
TROUBLESHOOTING:
1. Make sure the switch is set to "ON" position.
2. Keep the solar panel clean.
3. If solar product does not light up after it has been used for around 8 – 12 months, replace the
rechargeable battery as it may be weak or worn out. (Battery 1 pc "AAA" 1.2v 300Mah, Ni-MH,
Rechargeable– Same equivalent type as recommended must be used).
