Turn off all components in the system before changing any of the connections to the system.     Fill out and send in the owner’s registration card packed with the RC-1550. Also be sure to keep the original sales receipt. It is your best record of the date of purchase, which you will need in the event warranty service is ever required.

    If you will not be using the RC-1550 for a long period of time, press the front panel STANDBY switch to turn it Off. The button will return to its Out position and all the front panel indicator lights will turn off.

    12V Trigger Connections Many Rotel amplifiers offer the option of turning them on and off using a 12 volt trigger signal sent to them. The RC-1550 provides a 12 volt trigger output to take advantage of this feature. When the RC-1550 is turned on, a 12 volt DC signal is sent to the amplifier to turn them on.
