Sound Recording (Sound Mode)

In this mode sound can be recorded. The recordable time is displayed
according to the available capacity in the recording destination.
Important
Note
• The microphone is located on the front of the camera. Adjust the
direction of the microphone to the best position for recording.

Continuous Shooting (Continuous Shooting Mode)

This mode is for shooting a subject continuously while the shutter button is
depressed. This function is ideal for capturing special events.
q Set the mode dial to [
w Press the shutter release button to
shoot the image.
Shooting continues while the shutter release
button is pressed.
Continuous shooting stops when you release
the shutter release button.
Note
• The flash does not fire in continuous shooting mode.
• In continuous shooting mode, the focus, exposure compensation and
white balance are locked in the status in effect when you press the
shutter release button.
• Continuous shooting stops when the total number of files recorded
reaches RIMG9999. In this case, format the SmartMedia memory card
or internal memory to resume continuous shooting.
