The product labels contain unique device-specific information that can be used for project documentation. This information includes MAC address and serial number. The two numbers are unique and refer to each individual device. -

Nexans default configuration comes with DHCP for addressing the switch. The switch sends a DHCP request as soon as the Management LED is permanently on. If it receives a valid response from a DHCP server, the IP parameters are accepted, and the management module can be immediately accessed via the assigned IP address. -
