    INTRODUCTION SCOPE This hand held power tool uses abrasive discs to grind/cut metals or masonry. This product is intended for trade use and has the quality and features to meet and exceed the expectations of the most demanding user. Any application other than that it was intended for, is considered misuse.

    HEALTH AND SAFETY INFORMATION g) If devices are provided for the connection of dust extraction and collection facilities, ensure these are connected and properly used. Use of dust collection can reduce dust-related hazards. h) Do not let familiarity gained from frequent use of tools allow you to become complacent and ignore tool safety principles.
  • Page 8 HEALTH AND SAFETY INFORMATION f) Threaded mounting of accessories must match the grinder spindle thread. For accessories mounted by flanges, the arbour hole of the accessory must fit the locating diameter of the flange. Accessories that do not match the mounting hardware of the power tool will run out of balance, vibrate excessively and may cause loss of control.
  • Page 9 HEALTH AND SAFETY INFORMATION b) Use special care when working corners, sharp edges etc. Avoid bouncing and snagging the accessory. Corners, sharp edges or bouncing have a tendency to snag the rotating accessory and cause loss of control or kickback. c) Do not attach a toothed saw blade.

The protruding wheel may cut gas or water pipes, electrical wiring or objects that can cause kickback. Before connecting the product to the mains electricity supply, always check that the ON/ OFF trigger switch (1) is functioning properly and reverts to the OFF position when it’s released. This product has a trigger switch safety lock mechanism (1.1) that prevents accidental starting of the machine.

    10. MAINTENANCE AND TROUBLESHOOTING 10.1 MAINTENANCE Regular inspection and cleaning reduces the necessity for maintenance operations and will keep your tool in good working condition. The motor must be correctly ventilated during tool operation. Avoid blocking the air inlets and vacuum the ventilation slots regularly.
