A cleaning using the Cleaning Cards usually
suffices. However, a separate Print Head
cleaning using swabs can remove more stubborn
deposits when print anomalies persist. To avoid
deposits, only use foam-tipped swabs.
1 1 . . Raise Print Head and remove the
Ribbon.
2 2 . . Clean Print Head by moving alcohol-
moistened swab tip side-to-side across
Print
moderate force.

Never use a sharp object to scrape deposits
from the print head. Permanent damage
will result.
