Using Flash (Flash)
1.
Press
(Flash up) to open the

flash unit.
• The flash will not fire if the flash unit
is not open.

In the REC mode, press [2] (
once.

Use [4] and [6] to select the
flash setting you want and then press [SET].

Press the shutter button to shoot.
• Note that the flash unit does not close automatically. After
you are finished using it, you need to close it by hand.
• For information about Flash Range, see page 188.

(amount of light and brightness) conditions.

subject that normally comes out dark due to daylight or
backlight (daylight synchro flash).
