Switching off
2. Release the on/off switch.
▶ The switch-on interlock jumps automatically into the locked position.

Sawing along a line
Saw only flat workpieces that offer a big enough contact surface to accommodate the whole of the
base plate.
1. Position the workpiece so that the saw blade is free to rotate beneath it.
2. Secure the workpiece to prevent movement.
3. Bring the front edge of the base plate into contact with the workpiece.
▶ Saw blade clear of the workpiece.
4. Switch the product on. → page 12
5. Guide the saw along the cutting line at a suitable speed for it to cut smoothly through the workpiece.

Longitudinal cuts at 0°
Use the guide rail adapter for a saw with a small base plate.
1. Secure the guide rail with 2 screw clamps.
2. Set the saw on the guide rail with the 0° groove mark on the rib of the guide rail.
3. Switch the product on. → page 12
4. Advance the saw along the guide rail to make the cut through the workpiece.

Longitudinal cuts at angles up to 50°
Use the guide rail adapter for a saw with a small base plate.
WARNING
Risk of collision when making bevel cuts! Collision between saw blade and guide rail.
▶ Set the saw on the guide rail with the correct groove engaging the rib of the rail. The saw blade will
otherwise collide with the guide rail.
1. Secure the guide rail with 2 screw clamps.
2. Set the cutting angle for bevel cuts.
3. Place the saw on the guide rail with the groove marked "1°- 50°" on the rib on the rail.
4. Switch the product on. → page 12
5. Advance the saw along the guide rail to make the cut through the workpiece.

Using the saw without a dust and chip removal system
1. Check that the sawdust is ejected without obstruction.
2. If required, the hose connector can be removed from the blade guard by slackening the hex socket screw
with the hex key supplied with the product.

Care of the product
Carefully remove stubborn dirt.
Carefully clean the air vents, if present, with a dry, soft brush.
