File Transfer in DOS and WINDOWS ® 3.x:
The file transfe r fe ature of the Bitronics switch allows b oth comp ute rs to
conne ct a if the re was a file transfe r cab le conne cte d b e twe e n the m.
The LED of the corre sp ond ing comp ute r p ort on the Bitronics switch will
turn g re e n. This LED re p re se nts the comp ute r you are on now, and is se t for
file transfe r mod e .

cab le s and the Bitronics switch act as if it was a file transfe r cab le . Y ou can
now run p rog rams such as Wind ows‚ Dire ct Cab le Conne ction, or Lap Link ® .
