Here, you must select the correct type for the device connected to that port.
• If you are using a d e vice which ad d s a d rive le tte r to your syste m (like a
Zip ® Drive , CD-RO M, LS-120, e tc...), use the Mass Storag e
De vice se tting .
• If you are using a p rinte r, use the p rinte r d rive r use d for that p articular
p rinte r on that p ort of the Bitronics switch. If it d oe s not show up in this
me nu, that me ans the p rinte r d rive rs have not b e e n installe d . (In that
case , re install the p rinte r d rive rs and re p e at this ste p afte r re b ooting
your comp ute r.) If you have more than one p rinte r installe d , make sure
that the corre ct d rive r is use d for the p rinte r conne cte d to that p ort on
the Bitronics switch.
• For any othe r p aralle l d e vice , just use Scanne r, and chang e the Disp lay
Name accord ing ly. For e xamp le , if you have a p aralle l tap e d rive , use
Scanne r for De vice Typ e , the n e nte r Tap e Drive in Disp lay Name .
