2 Update
There are two ways of update: "update using a USB storage device" and "update
using the Web Control via network connection".
Each method is as follows.
2.1 Update by using the USB storage device
○ Necessary equipment
USB storage device
• USB2.0 compliant
• Memory capacity 32GB or less (100MB or more space is required)
• FAT16 and FAT32 format are supported.
○Update procedure
1. Make a folder in a USB storage device to save an update file.
Create a "PRJ" folder using single-byte uppercase letters in the root directory of
a USB storage device.

CAUTION
►Make sure to save the update file as follows. If the update file is not saved
correctly, the projector cannot recognize it.
• Create "PRJ" folder in the root directory of a USB storage device.
• Name a folder using single-byte uppercase letters.
• Save only one update file of the model you want to update in "PRJ" folder.
If plural files are saved in this folder, the projector may not recognize the
update file correctly.
2. Save the downloaded file in "PRJ" folder made in step 1.
3. Turn on the projector and the light source.
4. Insert the USB storage device to the projector after waiting at least two minutes.
Do not connect two or more USB storage devices.
5. Select OPTION - SERVICE - FIRMWARE UPDATE in ADVANCED MENU
of the projector.
File saved in the "PRJ" folder in the USB storage device is displayed. Make
sure that the file name is correct.
When the file name is not displayed, confirm step 1.
