9.3. Adjust the machine horizontal level and conveyor height.

If you have set sliding paper under the leveling bolts at this point, start from step 6.
Turn off the power and the air supply to the machine.
Raise the machine just slightly (0.5mm or less) using a jack set by either leveling
bolt to obtain some clearance under the leveling bolt.
Note
Just narrow clearance to allow sliding paper to be inserted under the leveling bolt will do.
Jack
Note
Upon using a jack, insert rubber or wooden board between the jack and machine/floor to prevent
scratching.
Set two sheets of sliding paper with slippery sides faced inside and place the set
under the leveling bolt.
Lower the jack completely and remove it from the machine.
Warning
When lowering the jack, cue bystanders out aloud to ensure safety.
Repeat Step 2 through 4 for the remaining leveling bolts.
