7 Dual Position Air: Remove the inner and outer air piston o-rings and
discard them. Clean the air piston.
Apply grease to new o-rings and install them.
Do not scratch the air piston. Scratches will cause air to leak.
DebonAir: Remove the quad ring seal from the air piston and
discard it.
Clean the air piston.
Apply grease to a new quad ring seal and install it.
8 Clean the inside and outside of the upper tube.
Inspect the inside and outside of the upper tube for damage.
Scratches on the inside surface of the upper tube can cause air to leak.
If an internal scratch is visible, the crown steerer upper tube assembly
may need to be replaced.
