3.1 Explanation of symbols
WARNING!
... indicates a potentially dangerous situation that can result in
serious injury or death, if not avoided.
CAUTION!
... indicates a potentially dangerous situation that can result in
light injuries or damage to property or the environment, if not

DANGER!
... identifies hazards caused by electrical power. Should the
safety instructions not be observed, there is a risk of serious

3.2 Intended use
The electronic ventilation duct temperature sensor is used for
temperature measurement in gaseous media for measuring ranges
from -50 ... +250 °C [-58 ... +482 °F] (depending on the version). It is
designed for connection to control and display systems.
This instrument is not permitted to be used in hazardous areas!
