PTP-1+1
The PTP-1+1 consists of a single sample cell holder and a single reference cell holder. The
single sample cell holder is installed in the sample beam path in the spectrometer, the single
reference cell holder is installed in the reference beam path in the spectrometer.
Before installing the cell holders, remove any accessory currently installed in the sample
compartment.
1. Remove the standard sample cell holder and the standard reference cell holder by
simply screwing out the mounting posts.
2. Lever out both caps on the plastic plate with a screwdriver (Figure 2).
3. Push both connecting cables under the spectrometer and then feed one cable through
the hole in the sample beam path, and one cable through the hole in the reference
beam path.
4. Fix one end of a connecting cable to the bottom of the sample cell holder (Figure 3) and
the other end to the Sample socket on the rear of the control unit (Figure 4).
5. Fix one end of a connecting cable to the bottom of the reference cell holder and the
other end to the Reference socket on the rear of the control unit (Figure 4).
