HOW TO REPLACE THE BATTERIES
Each handle (A) can use two AAA batteries; alkaline
batteries are recommended. Do not use old and new
batteries together or alkaline, standard, and recharge-
able batteries together. IMPORTANT: If a handle has
been exposed to cold temperatures, allow it to warm
to room temperature before you insert batteries.
Otherwise, you may damage the electronic compo-
nents. Make sure to clean the contacts on the batteries
and the contacts in the battery holders (B) each time you
install batteries.
Locate the battery holder (B) on a handle (A). Remove the
two small screws (C), and then remove the battery holder.
Remove the cover (D), remove the two old batteries if
necessary, and insert two new AAA batteries into the bat-
tery holder (A). Make sure that the negative end of each
battery is pressed against a spring. Then, reattach the
cover, insert the battery holder into the handle (A), and attach it with the two small screws (C). Repeat this step
for the other handle (A).
Note: If the handles (A) will not be used for an extended period of time, remove the batteries from the handles.
