Using the AV COMPU LINK function

When a JVC-manufactured TV with AV COMPU
LINK II or III terminals is connected to the DVD
player using these terminals, operating either the
TV or the DVD player controls the other equipment
at the same time.

Connection and setup

NOTE
• "AV COMPU LINK" is printed for terminals on some
JVC-manufactured TVs. These terminals are no
different from the "AV COMPU LINK I/II" or "AV
COMPU LINK" terminal.
• Refer to "OTHERS" (
the "AV COMPULINK MODE" setting.
• Also refer to the manual of the TV to be connected
to the DVD player.

• Connect the video 3 (DVD) input terminal on the
TV.
• If the video 3 input terminal is used for the
playback of a digital video movie, this terminal
does not work with the AV COMPU LINK

Operation

Turn on the main power of the
TV.

Slide the remote control
mode selector to DVD.

Press 0 OPEN/CLOSE.
• The disc tray ejects.

Place a disc.

Press 3 (play) or DVD.
• The power of the TV is turned on.
• The input mode on the TV changes to either
the video 1 input or the video 3 (DVD) input.
