THREADING THE NEEDLE
Raise thread take-up lever to its highest point by turning balance wheel toward you. Then raise
presser bar lifter and lead the thread through all points from ( to

1. Place a spool of thread on the spool pin.

3. Lead thread between tension discs

from right to left while restraining thread from
L- drawing out freely from spool. Then pull it up through check spring ('(A)) and over tension

4. Guide thread into the hole on thread take-up lever

then down into face plate thread

5. Thread the needle (()) from left to right and draw about 15 cm or 5 inches of thread
through the eye of needle.
