Time Display Battery Low Indicator The iP21 uses a CR2032 button cell backup battery system to provide continuous alarm operation and clock settings in the event of a power failure. The CR2032 battery comes installed in the unit. Simply pull the tab to initiate contact.
Setting the Clock Time Using Time Sync The iP21 Time Sync feature allows you to sync the time setting on the iP21 to the time from your iPhone or recent model iPod (iPod touch, iPod nano and iPod Classic; older iPod models such as iPod mini do not support this feature).
For enhanced bass, press the EXB Expanded Bass Switch located on the back of the unit to turn ON. Note: If the playing song/music loudness is too low on the iPhone/iPod itself, the iP21 may not detect that the iPhone/iPod is in play mode.
Note: Please make sure your iPhone/iPod has enough songs to play for one hour, otherwise please set the iPhone/iPod repeat mode to ON. Note: If there is no iPhone/iPod present or there is no music detected on the iPhone/iPod at alarm time, the iP21 will automatically switch to buzzer alarm.
To stop listening at any time, press the Press the Nap Button on the top left of the iP21 as needed to set a nap time of 15, 30, 60 or 90 minutes. The alarm will come on after the set duration. If no iPhone or iPod is detected a buzzer alarm will sound. Press the Nap Button during the nap cycle to view the nap time remaining.
