4.3.15.3 Remote control function and use of this function
After HomeWhiz setup, Bluetooth is automatically enabled. To enable or disable
the connection via Bluetooth, please refer to section 4.3.8.2 Bluetooth 3".
If you turn your machine off and on again while Bluetooth is active, it will
reconnect automatically. In the event that a paired device becomes out of range,
Bluetooth will automatically turn off. For this reason, you will need to re-enable
Bluetooth if you want to use the remote control feature. You can check the
Bluetooth symbol on the screen to track the connection status. If the symbol is
continuously lit, you have a Bluetooth connection. If the symbol flashes, the
product is trying to connect. If the symbol is off, you have no connection.

If the remote control function cannot be selected, check the connection status. If the
connection cannot be established, repeat the initial setup procedure on the device.

If you want to control your washing machine remotely, you must activate the remote
control function by pressing the Remote control button when the program button is in
the Download program/Remote control position on your washing machine's control
panel. When access to the product is established, you will see a screen similar to the
one shown below.
When the Remote control function is activated, only management, power off and
status monitoring operations can be performed through your washing machine. All
other functions except Child Lock can be managed via the app. You can control
whether the Remote control function is enabled or disabled via the function
indicator on the button.
If the remote control function is disabled, then all operations are performed on the
washing machine and only status tracking can be performed on the app.
In case the Remote control function cannot be activated, the device gives a warning
sound when you press the button. This can happen in case the device is turned on and
there is no device paired via Bluetooth. Examples of this are turning off the Bluetooth
settings or opening the washing machine door.
