    Intended Audience This manual is intended for use by the VSAT (Very Small Aperture Terminal) equipment installer, System Engineer, and Network Operator responsible for maintaining the iDirect Network. Only qualified service personnel should install the iQ LTE Satellite Router. Familiarity with cabling and wiring practices is beneficial.

  • Page 40 Connecting a Cradlepoint LTE Device to the Network If this is the first time configuring the IBR, the default IP address of the Cradlepoint module is 192.168.0.1. 3. Log in to the Cradlepoint module. The default username is admin and the password is the device serial #. In older versions, the password is the last eight alpha-numeric characters of the Cradlepoint device LAN port’s MAC address (e.g., if the MAC Address is 00:30:44:18:9E:BA, the password is 44189eba).

    The iQ LTE uses a GPIO cable to transfer signals from the Cradlepoint device to the front panel LED for device status and also reset function. An SDK script developed by iDirect is required to activate this functionality. You will need to download the script file iDirect_IQ_LTE_SDK.tar.gz from the TAC Customer Portal in the supplementary software section to your local PC and then load the script to your NetCloud Manager account.
