Hydraulic installation

The servo-hydraulic actuator is a self-contained system. A service interface to
the service kit is available and also necessary. Any required work (adjustment
work, inspection for leakage, etc.) is carried out by Bosch Rexroth before dis-
patch.

Risk of injury due to heavy components! Due to the
WARNING
weight and size of the servo-hydraulic actuator it can tip
over from the mounting face and cause personal injury
or damage to the components.
Keep the servo-hydraulic actuator in a stable position
when mounting it.
Use the provided lifting eyes and suitable lifting gear
for installing the unit.
Lift the servo-hydraulic actuator according to ⮫ Chapter 6 "Transport and
storage" on page 33 to the place where it will be mounted later. The
mounting faces have to be clean and free from contamination.
Use suitable mounting screws. The requirements for the mounting screws
depend on the application and have to be verified and determined by the
customer.
Ensure that the mounting screws are tightened by applying the specified
tightening torque. Tighten the screws alternately crosswise using a suit-
able torque wrench. The tightening torque depends on the application and
has to be verified and determined by the customer.
Mount the piston rod to the customer equipment taking account of the
notes and mounting instructions in this chapter. The mounting faces have

modifications to or work on the hydraulic system, e.g.
changing of pipework, opening of fittings (except for the
fittings provided at the drive unit for measuring pur-
poses), which are not described in these operating
instructions or were not agreed with Bosch Rexroth, can
lead to personal injury and damage to property!
You may only carry out the work on the servo-
hydraulic actuator that is described in these oper-
ating instructions.
Any modifications may exclusively be carried out by
Bosch Rexroth or by qualified and trained personnel
