    5. Fix the cable support in the specific hole (fig. 1-M), connect the iron plug to the socket (fig. 1-O) and fix the steam hose to the solenoid valve with a hose clamp (fig. 1-P). 6. Fix the iron cables to the cable support hook (fig. 1-A), paying attention to avoid twisting.

ELECTRONIC CARD OPERATION: “STANDARD” & “STAND-BY” MODE By turning on the main switch, the machine is in “stand-by” mode (red led on). This mode allows access to the SET menu in order to set functions (e.g.: language, periodical maintenance warnings etc.

    8. MEANING OF ICONS ON: it means that the water inside the boiler is being heated in order to obtain the correct operating pressure. OFF: it means that the boiler has reached the optimum pressure. The machine is ready to iron. Indicates that the water is being pumped into the boiler.

MAINTENANCE RESET The electronic board is set up in order to remind the operator to carry out regularly the maintenance.

    To gain access to the fuses the main switch must be on pos. “0” and the four screws must be unscrewed from the blue panel. The position of the fuses is indicated in Fig. In order to replace the broken fuses of the electronic board unscrew them by using a screwdriver, exerting a slight pressure and rotate.

    13. Do not place the iron directly on the metal part of the iron rest. Always place the iron on the proper rubber iron rest. 14. Do not iron directly on people. 15. Do not rest or use iron on zippers, hooks, rings, etc ... to avoid scratching the iron plate.

    The ERA VAP is equipped with one pedal for vacuum and also one pedal for steaming. The steaming function is used to give steam from the ironing surface to thick garments. After steaming has been completed it is recommended to activate vacuum to avoid water stagnation on the ironing board and to dry the fabric dampened by steam.

MECHANICAL RISKS The following situations are considered dangerous for the operator: 1. using the machine for different purposes other than ironing; 2. when you continue to use the machine after the safety valve has been activated (steam pressure inside the boiler is too high, check the manometer). 20.

    25. PACKING The ironing board can be packed with cellophane or in a cardboard box which cannot be turned upside down. As this is not a stiff package it is not shock-resistant. We therefore suggest to handle the packed machine with utmost care and not to use it as a stool or support. Keep away from children any plastic bags, boxes, polystyrene etc.
