(11). Fail input terminal (Fail1, Fail2)
Connect to an external UPS when executing the Windows shutdown sequence on
PUB21.
Fail1 and Fail2 are both contact input terminals, which are internally connected by
diode-OR circuit. If either Fail1 or Fail2 and the common terminal (COM) are short-
circuited, PUB21 is notified as an alarm input from UPS and PUB21 enters shutdown
operation. Approximately 12V-7mA is supplied to the contact.
(12). Common terminal (COM)
Connect to the external UPS when executing the Windows shutdown sequence on
PUB21.
Common terminal for Down output (Down) and Fail input (Fail1, Fail2).
(13). +5V voltage adjustment volume
For adjustment at the time of shipment.
Do not touch.
(14). Power switch (switch cover)
An input power switch.
When operating the switch, open the switch cover.
If this switch is turned off while the power is on, or if there is a controller that requires
a shutdown sequence, the shutdown process will continue automatically even after
the switch is turned off, and the internal power supply will be turned off afterward
(15). Module Fixing screw
Screw for fixing the module to the base unit.
