Carefully choose the area of installation: make sure that the coverage area of the unit is
a sparsely populated area with minimum human traffic. In addition avoid positioning the
unit in the vicinity of large metal (or other) reflectors that might block line of sight to the
entire coverage area or otherwise hamper sensor performance. Figure 8 and Figure 9
depict general rules of thumb for unit placement. It is strongly recommended that
customers new to radar technology in general and the SR specifically would perform a
