Weighing Platform Replacement Guide

The following steps will guide you through the removal of the weighing platform and installation of a
new weighing platform.

Replacing The Weighing Platform

Put the mail machine in
sleep mode by pressing
the sleep wake button
The power indicator light will
be amber.

Disconnect the power
cable from the wall
outlet. This will turn off the
IS-240/280 mailing system.

Remove the Weighing
Platform cable from
the component cavity.

cable from the port of the
IS-240/280 mailing system.

R e m o v e t h e n e w
Weighing Platform
and shipping label from
the shipping package.

Place the old Weighing Platform into the new
shipping package. Seal the package with
packing tape (not provided). Apply the prepaid
label to the package over the old shipping label.

onto the system aligning
the Weighing Platform
feet with the indentations
on the base.

Connect the new
Weighing Platform
cable to the port of the IS-
240/280 mailing system.
