Remote Control Buttons
(from left to right)
This section describes what each button does when the remote is
operating the DVD Player.
INFO Brings up the Info Display.
Dimmer Dims the display panel on the front of the player. The first press
dims the display, the second press turns it off completely, and the third
press returns the display to normal.
OPEN/CLOSE Press and hold to open and close the disc tray.
Number buttons (1-9) Use the number buttons to input information
such as chapter numbers, track numbers, or to make selections on some
Number buttons (0/10 and +10) The 0/10 button is used to enter a zero
or a 10. The +10 button is used to enter numbers larger than 10. For the
number 11, press +10 and 1. For 12, press +10 and 2, etc. The +10 button
is also used to enter 2-digit numbers larger than 19. Each consecutive
press of the button increases by ten. For example, press +10 twice for the
number 20. So, if you press the +10 button 3 times, the number displayed
is 30. For the number 34, you would press the +10 button three times and
the 4 button once.
PLAY MODE Press this button to access the Play Mode info banner to
set random and program playback.
INDEX Displays a pictorial index of chapters or tracks.
TIME SEARCH Allows you to select a title or chapter and begin playback
from that point.
REMAIN Shows the remaining plaback time of titles and chapters.
RESUME Continues playback from point where playback was stopped.
REV Press this button during playback to reverse the disc one frame at a
FWD Press this button during playback to advance through the disc one
frame at a time.
SLOW Plays content in slow motion.
ZOOM Zooms in on picture.
SETUP Accesses the DVD player's menu system.
GUIDE Accesses the DVD disc guide (if available).
MENU Brings up the DVD player menu.
Press this button to pause disc play. For DVD discs, press again to play
forward a frame at a time.
