page 39 for more information.. The detector remains in alarm until the gas dissipates and
clears from the sensors. Verify that the visual and audible alarms activate.
Startup Test Pass
If the detector passes all of the startup tests, the detector enters normal operation and
displays the ambient gas readings.
The detector begins recording the maximum gas exposure (MAX), and calculating the
short-term exposure level (STEL) and time-weighted average (TWA) exposures.
Startup Test Fail
After the detector enters normal operation, ERR displays if a sensor has failed the self-
test. To determine the cause and solutions for a failed sensor, refer to See
"Troubleshooting" on page  98 for more information..
