OPERATING PROCEDURE
15. Removing the compressor (MC)
(1) Remove the service panel. (Refer to procedure 1)
(2) Remove the top panel. (Refer to procedure 1)
(3) Remove the electrical parts box. (See Photo 4, 5)
(4) Remove 3 valve bed fixing screws (4 × 10), 2 valve and
fixing screws (5 × 16) then remove the stay.
(5) Remove cover panel (front) fixing screws (2 for front/5 ×
12) to remove the cover panel (front).
(6) Remove 5 right side panel (R) fixing screws (5 × 12)
(4:rear of the unit/1: right side base) and remove the side
panel (R).
(7) Remove the front panel.
(8) Remove 3 separator fixing screws (4 × 10) and remove
the separator.
(9) Remove the soundproof cover for compressor.
(10) Remove the terminal cover and remove the compressor
lead wire.
(11) Recover refrigerant.
(12) Remove the welded pipe of compressor inlet and outlet
then remove the compressor.
(13) Remove the 3 points of the compressor fixing nut using a
spanner or a adjustable wrench.
Note: Recover refrigerant without spreading it in the air.
16. Removing the power receiver
(1) Remove the service panel. (Refer to procedure 1)
(2) Remove the top panel. (Refer to procedure 1)
(3) Remove the electrical parts box. (See Photo 4, 5)
(4) Remove 3 valve bed fixing screws (4 × 10), 2 valve and
fixing screws (5 × 16) then remove the stay.
(5) Remove cover panel (front) fixing screws (2 for front/5 ×
12) to remove the cover panel (front).
(6) Remove 5 right side panel (R) fixing screws (5 × 12)
(4:rear of the unit/1: right side base) and remove the side
panel (R).
(7) Recover refrigerant.
(8) Remove 4 welded pipes of power receiver inlet and outlet.
(9) Remove 2 receiver leg fixing screws (4 × 10).
Note: Recover refrigerant without spreading it in the air.
17. Removing the pressure relief valve
(1) Remove the service panel. (Refer to procedure 1)
(2) Remove the valve bed. (Refer to procedure 12(2))
(3) Remove the quick fastener which fixes the plate heat
exchanger and the PRV. (See Photo 26)
(4) Pull the PRV to remove it. (See Photo 26)
(5) Remove the O-ring. (See Photo 27)
Note 1: Make sure that the operation stops before remov-
ing.
Note 2: When replacing the O-ring if necessary, use the
O-ring and grease which are used in Cylinder unit
(e.g. EHST20C series) .
