30. Loosen and remove the bolts (1). Remove the heat
shield (2).
31. Loosen and remove the "U" clamp bolts (1). Remove
the muffler U -pipe (2).
32. Separate the Four-Wheel Drive (4WD) shaft from the
front axle (if fitted). See Dropbox drive shaft - Re-
move (21.200).
33. Use wedge (1) between the axle and front axle support
to prevent articulation.
34. Support front axle with a movable jack and rail and
immovable screw jack below engine frame.
35. Remove the twelve buckle up bolts (1) between en-
gine & master clutch housing. Pull the engine away
using moving rail jack.
