Remove the carbon brush covers (2×).

Remove the connecting cable lug from the carbon

brushes (4×).
Remove the carbon brushes.

Dispose of the carbon brushes in accordance with

local regulations.

Insert the new carbon brushes and mount again in

reverse order.
