Click 'detect' to detect connected instruments. Genie will
display what has been detected. Click Continue to go to the
selection screen.
Note: You can simulate a fitting by selecting 'Chili' from
the Family circle. Select Chili SP9, Chili SP7 or Chili SP5 from
the second level screen that opens.
during the fitting the instruments' volume controls are
overruled by Genie. Therefore, their actual setting is of no
importance.

Selection Step

Chili comes in a BTe style with size 13 batteries.
If you are fitting ConnectLine or just adding one or two
Streamers as remote controls to the Chili instruments, select
Streamer in the feature list.
Personal profile
People with moderately-severe to profound hearing loss have
very different abilities to process complex sounds. To ease the
fitting, you can select between four unique Identities
for the dSesp rationale covering different client needs.
The default identity is Active. In essence, the dynamic Identity
provides more compression relative to Active, while Gradual is
a slower Identity. Classic is the linear option.
The prescribed Chili Identities are based on the audiogram,
age, hearing instrument experience and auditory resolution:
