Basic safety rules

Remember that the use of products
that require fuels, electricity and wa-
ter necessitate the respect of certain
basic safety rules such as:
Children and non-assisted dis-
abled people are not allowed
to use the Residence Condens i
boiler.
IT IS forbidden to activate elec-
tric devices or appliances such as
switches, household appliances
and so on if you notice a smell of
fuel or unburnt fuel.
In this case:
  Ventilate the room by opening
the doors and windows
  Close the fuel shut-off device
  Promptly call the Riello Tech-
nical Assistance Service or pro-
fessionally qualified person-
nel.
IT is forbidden to touch the boiler
while barefoot or if parts of your
body are wet.
IT IS forbidden to carry out any
cleaning operations before dis-
connecting the boiler from the
electricity supply; to do this, turn
the main system switch to "OFF".
IT is forbidden to pull, discon-
nect or twist the electric cables
coming out of the boiler even if
it is disconnected from the main
power supply.
IT is forbidden to plug or di-
mensionally reduce the ventila-
tion openings of the installation
room, if any.
IT is forbidden to leave flamma-
ble recipients and substances in
the room where the boiler is in-
stalled.
IT IS forbidden to place any ob-
jects on the boiler, as they could
be a source of danger.
IT IS forbidden to disconnect the
boiler from the electricity supply
and close the gas tap if there is
a risk of the temperature falling
below zero, as the 1st level an-
tifreeze system (protection up to
-3°C) would be disabled.
DO not intervene on sealed ele-
ments.
It is forbidden to obstruct the
condensate outlet.
