General warnings

This booklet, along with the one
for the installer and the Technical
Assistance Centre, are an integral
part of the Residence Condens i
boiler and must therefore be kept
in a safe place. They must always
be passed on with the boiler if it
is transferred to another owner/
user or to another system. If they
are damaged or lost, another copy
must be requested from your local
Riello Technical Assistance Centre.
The installation of the boiler should
be carried out by a company that
is in compliance with Min. Decree
37 of 2008, which at the end of its
work issues the owner with the
Declaration of Conformity of a cor-
rect installation, namely in compli-
ance with the applicable regula-
tions and the instructions provided
by Riello in the booklet for the in-
staller provided with the product.
The boiler must be used for the
purpose envisaged by Riello, for
which it was expressly made.
NO liability will be accepted, with-
in or outside the contract, by Riel-
lo for any harm to people, animals
or property caused by installation,
adjustment or maintenance errors,
or by improper use.
In the event of a water leakage, shut
off the water supply and promptly
contact the Riello Technical Assis-
tance Centre or other professionally
qualified personnel.
Periodically check that the operat-
ing pressure of the hydraulic system
is comprised between 1 and 1.5 bar.
If this is not the case, charge the
system as indicated in the specif-
ic chapter. In the event of frequent
drops in pressure, call the Technical
Assistance Centre or other qualified
professionals.
If the boiler is not used for a long
time, the following operations must
be carried out:
Turn the main switch of the ap-
pliance and the main switch of
the system to "off"
Close the fuel and water taps of
the heating system
  Drain the heating and domestic
hot water circuits if there is a risk
of freezing.
The circulator anti-locking function
is activated after 24 hours of non-
use, with the function selector in
any position.
For the installation, you are advised
to contact specialised personnel.
At the end of its life, the product
should be not be disposed of as sol-
id urban waste, but rather it should
be handed over to a differentiated
waste collection centre.
