Windows OS Installation

1) Install the drivers from cablematters.com/downloads
2) Reference the PL2303 Windows Driver Manual included with the drivers
2) Reboot your computer after the drivers are installed
3) Connect the cable directly to an available USB port on the computer
Important Notes:
Prolific drivers can be installed and updated with Windows Update

Your device with an RS-232 com port may require additional software from the

manufacturer to connect to the device. Consult the device user instructions.
Connect a DB9 Mini Gender changer for devices with male screws (sold separately)

A null modem adapter is required to connect two computers (DTE or DCE devices)
