Original Instructions)
The LED light
♦ 10W LED lights surrounding the pad lighten the
cupped and raised spots on the wall, enable you to
work efficiently and deliver a better sanding result.
EXTENSION SHAFT(OPTIONAL)
♦ Use the extension shaft (10) according to the intended
operation for higher work surface.
♦ Loosen the sleeve on the dust extraction outlet (9) of
the shaft. Do not remove the sleeve from the outlet.
♦ Align the rear handle (10
insert the sleeve (10
the outlet (9) with a twist motion all the way to the stop.
♦ Adjust the length of the extension shaft (10) if
necessary. Pay attention to the marking "max 1.8 m"
on the extension shaft. Tighten the sleeve (9) after
assembling/adjusting the extension shaft.

Dust suction

♦ Loosen the sleeve on the dust extraction outlet (9)
or (10
) by turning it in the direction of the unlocking

symbol on the tool handle.
♦ Insert vacuum hose (11) into the end of the tool handle
as illustrated.
♦ Tighten locking knob for length adjustment (9) by
turning it in the direction of the locking symbol on the
tool handle.
♦ Connect the vacuum hose with the Ø47 mm adapter (11
or with the Ø35 mm adapter (12) directly to an industrial
vacuum cleaner (remove vacuum cleaner hose first).
♦ You can also connect vacuum hose with one adapter
to an industrial Vacuum cleaner without removing the
vacuum cleaner hose.
Support adaptor/airflow control
♦ Support adaptor (11

♦ Control the airflow by sliding suction power adjustment

♦ The vacuuming power is at its lowest level when the
airvent is fully visible.
Switching the machine on and off
♦ Turn on/off the wall and ceiling sander by switch (7)
electronic speed control.
♦ Adjust the speed by turning the speed wheel (8),
user can choose different speed for different sanding
surface.
♦ Keep the machine running at the same speed as
selected. Do not overload by excessive pressure.

SANDING OPERATIONS

♦ Once the machine and vacuum cleaner are set up and
all safety measures and equipment are in place, begin
by turning on the vacuum cleaner and then the machine.
(If you are using a vacuum cleaner with integrated
switching, then simply turn the machine on.)

♦ Begin sanding and carefully contact the work surface
as lightly as possible-just enough to keep the sanding

keep the head in constant motion with appropriate
lasting time. Never keep sanding too long in any one

using is suited to the task, Overly coarse grit
paper may remove material too quickly to control.
While overly fine grit paper may not sand the
surface quickly.
WARNING: Take care to avoid sharp projections
and nails, etc. This will wipe out the sandpaper
and probably damage the sponge pad as well.

MAINTENANCE

Your Stanley corded/cordless appliance/tool has been
designed to operate over a long period of time with a
minimum of maintenance. To ensure satisfactory operations,
the tool must be maintained and cleaned regularly.
WARNING: To reduce the risk of injury, turn

repairs. Be sure the trigger switch is in the OFF position.
An accidental start-up can cause injury.
♦ This machine is not user-serviceable. If problems occur
contact an authorised repair agent.
♦ The tool will automatically switch off when the carbon
brushes are worn.
WARNING! Before performing any maintenance on corded/
cordless power tools:
♦ Switch off and unplug the appliance/tool.

♦ Or switch off and remove the battery from the appliance/
tool if the appliance/tool has a separate battery pack.
♦ Or run the battery down completely if it is integral and
then switch off.
♦ Unplug the charger before cleaning it. Your charger does
not require any maintenance apart from regular cleaning.
♦ Regularly clean the ventilation slots in your appliance/
tool/ charger using a soft brush or dry cloth.
♦ Regularly clean the motor housing using a damp cloth.
Do not use any abrasive or solvent-based cleaner.
♦ Regularly open the chuck and tap it to remove any dust
from the interior (when fitted).
Lubrication
Your power tool requires no additional lubrication.
Accessories and attachments used must be
regularly lubrication around the SDS Plus fitment.
